Say what is important to you that you have made your choice of questions. In other words, why did you select the particular question? Type each question you have chosen as your heading. 1. Margo Waddell’s – Inside Lives tells us that in thinking about the human, the “emphasis is less on the observable details of any particular interaction than on the possible meaning of the interaction in the inner world.” (p. 2). What is involved in trying to understand emotional experience? How would awareness of our inner world shape our understanding of meeting the child? Choosing any of the case studies in Waddell’s Inside Lives, describe your understanding of the dilemmas and possibilities. What sort of thinking is involved?

2. What are the differences between the child’s understanding of his/her world and those of adults? What are the conflicts between these worldviews? Is there a ticket to childhood? Why should we want that? What surprised you about this little novel, A Ticket to Childhood by Nguyen Nhat Anh.
