The assignment is to select 2 companies (they can be any company – profit or nonprofit)
1. Write an intro of 2 – 3 sentences that gives an overview of what companies you have selected. Be brief.
2. Each company needs to include 5 pieces (Capital, Customer, Internal Labor Market, External labor market, and most influential position sections). The descriptions should be written in a way that demonstrates to me that you understand what each market is and how it is differentiated from the other. The descriptions should all be about the same length for each company – which is about 2 – 3 sentences apiece.
3. Do label each section
4. It does not have to be in APA format. It does need to be double spaced, please provide it in Word format so I can edit it.
5. You must keep it to 5 pages or less. Think about how to keep it to 3 pages.

Things to think about as you complete each section:
Capital Markets: do include number of employees, financial data on the company (generally obtained from the website), stock price and trend if a public company, number of locations or
if US vs global.
Customer Markets: Do include who the competitors are and what distinguishes this brand – for example if you selected 3 different coffee companies: Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and WAWA – what type of customer does each company attract and why?
External Labor Market: What is it about the company that attracts talent to that organization? Who is their typical “candidate” e.g., college hires, seniors, etc. How do they position themselves on their career site or when they have openings?)
Internal Labor Market: Why do employees stay — what is the value proposition (are they a best place to work, are they fun? what types of commitments do they make to their employees)
Most influential position: Please note that this should be a highly populated position (not CEO or key leader in the organization). Do include why you selected this position.

You should listen to the lectures before writing your piece to ensure you understand how each market differs from the others.
