Some believe that reducing the teaching load for fulltime faculty increases the costs of higher

education. This suggests that costs could be lowered considerably if fulltime faculty teaching loads

were increased.

How might you proceed to use a reduced or increased faculty workload as the basis for reformulation

of the tuition and/or fees that may be charged for higher education? Please explain and support your

answer.
