This analysis paper will look at the #metoo feminist movement as well as other feminist movements happening in TODAYS time. It will explain the relatively late arrival of feminist approaches to the study of international relations theory. It will also be discussing what can be learnt from feminist theories. This essay, attempt to provide insight in to the history of feminism, specifically outlining when it arrived in IR. Furthermore, it will provide a summary of the types of feminist approaches; Liberal feminism, Marxist feminism and Radical feminism. Choose two theoretical schools and use them to comparatively analyze feminist movement in today’s society. Include the theoretical similarities and dissimilarities on their approach to the global issue. Finally, choose the theoretical school that makes more sense and provide the rationale for why you think so.
