Gun control; The essay 2 is related to praxis 2. The requirement of praxis 2 is posted. The sources need to be scholarly sources.(Better be books)

• Rhetorical Purpose: you will compose an annotated bibliography that provides a foundation for working with scholarly sources and integrating them into an extended research paper.

• Writing Situation: you are continuing to define a research problem and question that you have explored within the context 1) the course theme (e.g., sustainability); 2) their topic (e.g., debates related to climate change); 3) and Praxis 1 & Essay II (e.g., public disagreement about the relationship between human activity and climate change).

• Research Task: you will continue to explore your research problem and identify at least 6-8 scholarly sources that can be used to support and/or argue against perspectives that you have explored up to this point in the semester.

• Methods: you will summarize and provide accurate bibliographic information for each source.

• Textual Object: you will compose a 3-5 page document that includes summary annotations and bibliographic information for each source. Each summary annotation should be approximately 150 words in length. Note: The annotated bibliography should serve as a type of “bridge” between Essays II & III. It does so in at least a couple ways: 1) it helps you transition from public debates to academic scholarship (that may or may not be cited in those debates); and 2) it helps you ground your research in disciplinary discourse that you will encounter in your academic lives (e.g., social science, environmental science, bio-engineering, social policy).

The Annotated Bibliography is due by 11/28. It should be submitted online in the respective dropbox.
