write a paper on the classic poet Horace’s affinity for divine inspiration which he covered up by his supposed love of craft in Ars Poetica. His apparent need to instead embrace the craft of a poem was in part due to his close relationship with his father, a former slave. He saw that in order to stay one step ahead of the current cultural movement, he would have to embrace the Atticism movement instead of following his own divine musings.
