You are a lobbyist advocating for reform of a specific existing judicial process. Following the outline below and writing in a formal manner, advocate for your proposed reform. The general areas of reform are listed below with three suggested sources. You are required to include 10 sources that are either books or articles from academic journals (not newspapers, internet sources, or magazine articles, although you can use these for your own knowledge and additional sources). You also are required to follow the general outline for the paper provided below. The research paper should be 10 to 12 pages in length, excluding the reference sheet. It should be double spaced with 1” borders. Do not use excessive or long quotations in the text of your paper. Be sure to cite all ideas that are not your own and found in articles used in your paper with a parenthetical as follows: (author, year). If you use a very specific idea or direct quotation your parenthetical should be formatted (author, year, page #). All author references used in your paper as well as other articles you used for your research should appear in your bibliography at the end of the paper. The format for the bibliography follows APA format.
