Purpose: To demonstrate the knowledge and application of concepts, theories and skills pertaining to text analysis.

A letter written by Liam, a Year 4 student, has been posted. Your task is to analyse the text, using the guidelines in the table below and to apply the concepts addressed in lectures (will add lectures notes). You are expected to use the Winch text to assist you in completing the analysis, but no in-text citations or reference lists are required.

A pre-formatted template of the table below will be provided for you to complete your assessment task (Please use Template for Assessment 1B and questions to complete task).
The only reference can use is this book: Winch, G. (2013). The grammar handbook. Melbourne: Oxford University Press and the lecture notes which I will send.
