Part 1 – Log/Diary/Journal in the format of a table (examples attached – table 1,2,3,4). The attached examples relate to a Psychology teacher, but please complete this work from the perspective of a Maths teacher.
A Collection of journal entries which explore a specific area of professional development to improve within your own specialist area/context.
You will complete a Log/Diary/Journal to include a collection of journal entries which explores a specific area of professional development that you identify needs improvement within your own area.
The area for discussion: differentiation and subject knowledge. The client has looked at their progress in placement 2 and they needs to focus on subject knowledge.
Assessment criteria:
– Demonstrate the ability to critically reflect on your own professional development within a chosen area of study.
– Demonstrate the ability to respond to personal evaluations and the evaluations of others, including those of students in order to develop professional practice.
– Demonstrate the ability to record reflections and analyses in a coherent and thoughtful way.
