Road Rage
You will research and write a report on regional plan 2040 regarding Atlanta, Georgia. The link to that plan is below: https://www.atlantaregional.com/plan2040
The report must be 10 pages and answer/explore the following questions:
-How is the region defined in the plan? (number of governments, area, population, geography)?
-Who (Metropolitan Planning Organization, Council Of Governments, cooperating municipalities, nonprofit group, grassroots organization, etc) created the regional plan?
-What specific regional planning issues created the need for this regional plan to be created and how do the regional plan’s goals/elements address these issues?
Use the regional plan itself as a starting point for research but make sure to visit the regional plan’s website and look up supporting news articles or other sources if they are available. Your report will be graded on how well you answer the three questions above and follow the report guidelines below.
