Assessment criteria for the assignment are that you, selectively: 1. Develop an informed critical awareness and understanding of the range of epistemologies and ontologies represented within the current spectra of advanced organisational and management research; 2. Evaluate the epistemologies of different scholarly disciplines concerning complex issues in organisation and management research, select appropriate epistemological positions and apply them in relation to your emergent research interest 3. Make informed judgements by evaluating the ways in which personal assumptions and/or sense making of organisational context influence your philosophical approach to research. 4. Develop the ability to reflect critically on the process of research, and to assess its contribution to professional and /or business knowledge and Personal and Professional Development; 5. Initiate the process of evaluating and justification of your selected area of research (Female Leadership) by critical reference to established approaches to research within the field of research of your choice.
