The report must deal with the following components:

• An overview of the main trends in the UK’s trade in goods over the last 20 years.
You are expected to consider trends in volume/value of goods, type of goods traded, countries traded with, transport modes used, etc.
(BY DEMONSTRATING GRAPHS AND CHARTS AND UNDER EACH GRAPH OR CHART YOU NEED TO INTERPRET WHAT YOU FOUND) FOCUS ONLY ON THE

Graphs and charts need to be created for this section.

All information for this section should be no older than 20 years.

• The identification of the key changes in freight transport flows that are likely to result from the UK’s withdrawal from the EU; you should provide justification for the changes you identify.

• A structured and evidence-based assessment of the challenges and opportunities for transport infrastructure (and the way in which its use is governed) to ensure the smooth flow of goods to/from the UK after it leaves the EU; where appropriate, you should distinguish between EU and non-EU trade (such as infrastructure or board control, air aviation sector anything that relate to the flow of goods – justify the role to help UK in leaving EU).
