U.S. Navy Officer
This paper needs to include a little bit of my past, my leadership skills, my past experiences with the military (prior service), me as an asset to the Navy. Things I can do for and contribute to the Navy Mission. My values have to be similar to the Navy core values. Little bit of me: I was born in Cuba, came to the US when I was 17 in 2004. Went to College St. Thomas University in Miami where I graduated with a 3.87 GPA in Psychology. Joined the Marines when I was 24 Nov, 2011 Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Legal Services and went to Quantico where I received a second MOS Civil Affairs in 2013. I currently work for U.S. Customs and Border Protection as a federal officer. I have 5 years working for them in Miami, FL. I am mentally strong, very persistent, honest and direct. I love my family and I love the United States. Leadership skills: I have always been enlisted in he Military, E-4 was my highest rank, however due to my age (31) and my past experiences with my civilian job and the military I have a strong sense of what a true leader must look like, lead by example and be always open minded to the possibilities and people’s problems.
