b. Thesis statement- since you are asking the same basic question of each document, your thesis statement will be your main point about their similarity. – about the way in which each challenges European society.

 

2. Historical background: How do these authors fit into history? (1 paragraph)

What was going on at the time (or had been going on) that was influencing these authors and their views?

– think about specific events in history, or influential movements.

How were these authors reflective of their time period?

How did these authors impact history?

 

3. Analyze the documents (several paragraphs)
