You will be required to:-
• Critically analyse the scenario and identify immediate and medium goals for Carol’s care. Consider what factors might have resulted in Carol’s behaviour.
• With reference to government, professional and local trust guidelines discuss what strategies the ward manager could adopt to ensure Carol’s safety and that of her staff when caring for a confused person.
• Having critically analysed the scenario, discuss how you might use your findings to manage similar situations in the future.
