Describe the character that you are dealing with (personality, attitude, background, behavior, and physical characteristics)

For this essay, you are going to do a character analysis of one of the characters from “The Yellow Wallpaper.” Make sure your character has plenty of information that you can discuss in your paper. A few tips for writing a character analysis are:

1) Describe the character that you are dealing with (personality, attitude, background, behavior, and physical characteristics)

2) Discuss the conflict in the story as it relates to the character you are dealing with. How does it affect them directly? Remember that you will need a thesis statement, which will include the main points that you are going to cover about your character. Make sure that you identify which character you are discussing and what you are going to talk about regarding the character. Your thesis goes as the last sentence of your introduction. In addition, you will need a solid introduction with an attention-getter, body paragraphs that start with a topic sentence (a sentence that describes what the paragraph is about), and a conclusion that gives your reader something to take with them. You must use specific evidence from the text (quotes) to support your point. You need 1-2 quotes per paragraph.
