Pediatric autism
INSTRUCTIONS:1.Select a health related problem or disease process which is unique to children. The health problem chosen is pediatric autism.2.Research the disease and submit a typed (double-spaced) paper of at least five (5) pages (Does not include title page and Reference page) in length that addresses the textbook picture of the:a.Pathophysiology – include textbook signs and symptoms.b. Possible etiology/Epidemiologyc. Implications of disease on Growth and Developmentd.Pertinent Lab Data and Diagnostic tests – with interpretation/nursing significance for eache.Management; Medical/Nursing and Interdisciplinary Intervention.f.Prognosisg.Health promotion activities, teaching/learning and discharge needs.3.Include a reference page with a minimum of five (5) nursing references, two of which should be from a peer reviewed nursing journal article. References should be copyrighted in the last 5 years.
