Policy proposal to address self harm and suicide in prisons.
Identify a contemporary issue in penology for which a governmental/policy change could be implemented (in this case we are addressing self harm and suicide in prisons). Your job, as an advisor to the ministry of justice, is to develop a policy solution to this issue, make a recommendation to the government for a relative change in policy or legislation, and present a reasoned evidenced argument as to why this change would be effective. Whilst also considering how the impact of the change would be monitored.
