Reflective Portfolio

As part of your assessment criteria you are required to compile a reflective portfolio.
A Reflective Portfolio is a set of writings that summarise the insights and experiences you have gained from in class assessment and from practice. 
Your portfolio will include the following:
1. Introduction
2. Comprehensive reflective piece of your professional identity and continuing professional development: a) First Question b) Second Question
3. Reference section
4. Bibliography
5. Appendices
Total word count: 1000

The introduction should be very short, around 50 words only.
The 1st question of the reflective piece should be around 550 words.
The 2nd question of the reflection portfolio should be around 450 words.
Please try to reference the paper as much as you can and please include a content table at the start.


Questions
Comprehensive reflective piece of your professional identity and continuing professional development.
Critically reflect on one’s own learning and become efficient at managing themselves and others at work; 

First Question
1. During lecture/seminar sessions you will complete, discuss and evaluate self-assessments such as Belbin Team Roles, Blake and Mouton Managerial Grid, VAK Learning Styles (Walter Burke Barbe and colleagues) etc.
a) For your portfolio select 3 self-assessments which you believe provided you with the most enlightening insight to your own behavioural traits, discuss the benefits to your professional development as HR practitioner, and the perceived accuracy of your chosen assessment tool (link them to relevant theories as well).
b) Discuss how you can use your selected assessments for your professional development in Human resources field. 

Notes: The client would like to select the 3 self-assessments mentioned above and discuss how can they use them for their professional development in HR.
The results of the self-assessments the client did are the following:
• Belbin Team Roles: Implementer 15 (highest score), Evaluator 11, Finisher 10, Team player 8, Co-ordinator 8, Specialist 7, Networker 5, Shaper 4, Innovator 2
• Blake and Mouton Managerial Grid: Team Leader in the matrix (drawn from the score: People 6.6, Task 7)
• VAK Learning Styles: Visual 12 (highest score), Auditory 10, Kinaesthetic 8

The 1st question should consist of around 550 words.
The important part of the first question apart of discussing my 3 self-assessment roles(profiles): Belbin Team Roles: Implementer, Blake and Mouton Managerial Grid: Team Leader, VAK Learning Styles: Visual, the perceived accuracy of the 3 self-assessments and linking them to the relevant theories is discussing the benefits the 3 roles(profiles) to my professional development as HR practitioner and discussing how the client can use the selected assessments for their professional development in Human resources field.
Note: Please try to reference the 1st Question as much as you can.
The templates of the self-assessment tests (questionnaires) used should be shown in the appendices (as appendix 1, appendix 2 and so on as a part of the same word file so the client can fill the empty fields if needed). You can reference suitable graphs, tables, figures if necessary.
Note: Appendices don’t count towards the word count.


Second Question
2. The standards set out in the CIPD Profession Map, developed in collaboration with HR and L&D professionals, senior business people, academics and their organisations across the world, aim to set the bar high.
