If so, explain the basis for their challenge and the judge’s ruling on it. Use your critical thinking skills and do not plagiarize the courts language. Explain the lower courts ruling when applicable. How did the case get to the upper court (what ruling was challenged that the upper court found to be worthy of appeal). Summarize the details that are relevant to the assignment. Present the issue the rule the court relied on to make their decision, analyze the facts, and prepare your conclusion. Term papers are to be typed, double spaced, follow APA format, and should be no longer than five (5) pages in length, excluding any Bibliography. Grading for the term paper will be based on the Written Communication Rubric.
