1. You are required to produce a 2,500-word professional business report. You will need to select and review: a. an industry sector for example: automotive, telecommunications, retail, media etc. and b. an organisation within your chosen industry sector. 2. You are required to analyse and evaluate the organisations business activities to assess its suitability as an organisation to commence your career or as a placement/internship provider. This will need to be an organisation where there is public access to the Annual report and accounts. You should choose an industry sector and an organisation within that industry sector that you would like to do an internship or industrial placement with. The University has asked you to write a report to demonstrate:
• Your professional writing
• Critical Thinking
• Ability to conduct an industry review
• Analyse publicly available report and accounts
• Provide an outline of the role within your chosen organisation to do your internship/ placement.
• Assess your suitability for the role
• Outline the actions you will need to take to make this a reality.
