Case Presentation
Select a case which relates to the practice setting. (I’m interning as a school social worker at an all black public elementary school that is failing) Choose an appropriate framework with which to view the case and to develop a justification for a treatment modality and selected interventions. Utilize a basic social work model. the presentation will include the following areas:(1) Assessment (2) problem definition (3) goal formulation (4) treatment plan (5) implementation (6) practice evaluation. Students should integrate various assessment methods as well as interventions from social work. This is a APA paper that requires 5 pages that does not include title page and reference page. Please CITE. use up to 5 sources. here some information about my client: her name is Madison Jones, single, 13 years old, female, 7th grade, 1 brother and 2 sisters, black american. She has nightmares of a murder she saw 2 years ago and one of her coping skills is to journal her feelings. Also she struggles with her biological father being in prison. she fights constantly with other kids and gets tease a lot. she has problems coming to school. she was committed to a mental hospital for a week for running away and was prescribed medication for depression. That all the client information i can give you to start off with the rest is up to you. please remember im a student interning as a black school social worker. Also stick to the paper details and address each area of the social work model. This is also a presentation so write it professionally and where i can easily present it.
