1. Both the UN Human Rights Committee, in Faurisson v. France, and the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights, in Perincek v. Switzerland, have ruled on whether legislation making denial of genocide a crime can be compatible with freedom of expression. Are the views of these two bodies compatible, or have they taken genuinely different approaches to the issue?
