Leadership Research poster

You should create a poster in an A1 format for the client’s Leadership module. The poster has to be between 300-900 words. 

Critically appraise and identify a specific problem within your sphere of practice; critically analyse solutions to the problem and justify a chosen solution; use a change model to shape your plan to address the problem highlight the attributes of the advancing practitioner student in providing clinical leadership, justify the style of leadership used to underpin the process. 

1. The client’s problem: lack of information regarding ACP role in General Surgery. ‘Who they are? what are they doing?’. Poster will be used to teach staff (nurses and doctors). 

2. The client’s proposed solution? – education, teaching provides for all staff in the hospital.

3. Change management approach.

4. Leadership style.

You should create a poster includes an Introduction, Image, plan, transformation plan, conclusion, proposal (business concept, leadership style, team, invest, outcome).

You should also complete a 1,500 word essay; Complete a written assignment critically justifying the style of clinical leadership necessary to introduce the change proposed in course work 1 (CW1 – poster) giving consideration to the prevailing organisational and management culture.

Please include graphics, tables, diagrams (referenced).

The client has attached a fair bit of information regarding their role FYI. 

Module Learning Outcomes 

On completion of this module the intended learning outcomes are that the student should be able to: 

1. Critically examine current leadership and management theories and use these to underpin clinical leadership within their advancing practice role.
2. Critically analyse the significance of organisational and management culture and processes in order to negotiate the scope and boundaries of their clinical leadership within their practice role. 
3. Critically appraise theories of change and change management and apply these to project management and innovation within their own practice area. 
4. Critically analyse the advancing practitioner’s role in relation to quality improvement and clinical governance.

The process
1. Undertake a critical review of the effectiveness of current clinical practice in your practice area;
2. collaborating with work colleagues, clearly identify a relevant and significant problem that would benefit from a specific necessary change* and which is suitable to be addressed;
3. demonstrate the ability to research, analyse and synthesise data, concerning the problem in order to establish the detail of it’s critical features;
4. Identify a solution to address the problem; 
5. select and utilise problem solving strategies/principles of change management to set out a brief plan to deliver a workable solution to the problem; 
6. critically appraise attributes and skills of clinical leadership within the advancing practitioner role and specify their usage within the strategy to introduce change*;
7. present findings in the form of an imaginative and interesting poster. The poster should be presented on a size A1 board. The use of diagrams and pictures is advised. 
8. Essential references should be included on the poster, but not normally more than eight. 
9. All sections of the brief must be addressed.
