As the owner of Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate, four business artifacts enhance my understanding of theory, management, and leadership skills, as well as my professional disposition. This paper provides a rationale of how Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate business artifacts enhance these aspects. Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate business portfolio describes four different artifacts. The first artifact relates to the business model. In this case, Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate identifies quantitative and qualitative information that enhances the process of the enterprise. It notes that while providing quality products to the target consumer is important, consumer relations enhance the sustainability of the business. While Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate still needs to develop different departments to ease the workload on the owner, this business artifact has enhanced my managerial skills. It shows the conceptual, human and technical expertise required to run the business. The second business artifact relates to the model canvas. The model canvas is a visual chart that integrates different elements of a business to develop the appropriate strategy. As the owner of Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate, this artifact shows an understanding of theory and professional disposition. First, as a sole proprietor it essential that I have the right comprehension of business driving factors and the conceptual skills to make the right skills. One of the most significant responsibilities is designing a strategy that enhances business success. This business artifact demonstrates my professional disposition. It indicates that incorporating different components of a business such as value proposition, finances and strategy will enhance the success of Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate. It also augments my managerial skills. Moreover, this aspects demonstrates my understanding of theory. It incorporates Morgan metaphors and Bolman and Deal Frames in model canvas. These approaches to developing business ideas provide different perspectives that are essential critical thinking and designing business strategies. My comprehension of these theories emphasizes my capabilities as Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate owner. I have managed to run the business successfully by not only developing an appropriate business model but also establishing the policies and plans to ensure that it is sustainable. Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate aims to provide tools for entertainment, sports, and leisure to employees in the department of defense. This artifact proposes some of the changes that should be made in the business model to ensure that Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate can reach its target market. For example, it proposes developing three shops that sell the different products noted in Kaimana’s Surf/Snow/Skate business report. It also emphasizes that an online platform will enhance the marketability of the enterprise. It demonstrates my professional disposition through the experience gained.
